WANER (a.k.a Erwan Roy), président du collectif W.A.F Radio, est issu des univers du Djing et de la radio, dans lesquels il évolue depuis 10 ans.
Comme beaucoup, c'est en voyant et en écoutant les "maîtres" tels que Kevin Saunderson, Derrick May, Dj Sneak, Laurent Garnier, Jack de Marseille, Paul Johnson, les Daft Punk et beaucoup d'autres que son "aventure" musicale à commencée ! C'est en 1998 que DJ WANER commence à mixer dans différents bars et club sur Paris,ou il affectionne particulièrement les petites salles qui lui permettent d'être proche du public et de partager avec lui sa passion du son.
Aux platines et dans les clubs,WANER montre une incroyable capacité à comprendre ce qu'il convient au dancefloor, qu'il s'agisse de le secouer avec de l'électro-house ou de la séduire avec une sélection MinimalGroovy . Performer au devant de la scène et organisateur en coulisses Erwan propose des mixs et des productions minimal oniriques emprunts de sonorités chaleureuses issues des cinq coins du monde.influencer par les artistes comme Riccardo villalobos, Luciano, John Tejada, Laurent Garnier , Jeff Mills.
2009 est l'année des collaborations.Dj WANER s'associe à de plus en plus de collectifs , organisateurs de soirées et clubs pour partager sa passion de la musique électronique...Erwan côtoie et joue régulièrement avec Cyril K, Jerome Pacman, Tibo'z, Pepperpot, Kriss Correya, Mr Manali, TomGoodSpeed, Gilda, David K, Thomas Villard, Varoslav, Liviu & Nat, K-Ribù, Deenasty, Warrio, Danny Fiddo... Il s'est présenté entre-autres en tant que dj au Zenzi (Bombay), au Tentra (Calcutta), au DV1, Aperomix, au Festival Woodstower (Lyon), au Vizual Invaders (Festival Vj's, Albertville), et très régulièrement à Paris (Voûtes St-Honorée, Cithea Nova, Concorde Atlantique, L'Alternative, La Scène, La Luna, Batofar, New Morning, Cabaret Sauvage, Techno Parade, Nouveau Casino, Plateau de Gravelles, Shannon Pub, Maroquinerie, Café de la Plage, Vinyl, Soleil de la butte,Folie's Pigalle,Café Léopard, 3ème Lieu, N'importe Quoi, OPA, Babalu, Café K, Berimbar, Show Case, Batofar, Nouveau Casino, La Scène, Mezzanine de l'Alcazar, Studio 287, Caves st sabin, Opus Café...)

Artiste à l'identité flexible et évoluant constamment au sein du collectif Mosquito Massala , VJ WANER livre des performances essentiellement réactives aux sons. Mettant son goût et son expérience culturelle au service des sonorités à illustrer. ses sets vidéos sont l'empreinte d'un monde en perpétuelle mouvement Ses images sont faites de ses voyages a travers la France et le monde entier. Ses sources d'inspirations sont diverses, allant du cinéma expérimental à l'architecture, du Game art aux graffitis en passant par tous ceux qui nous entourent aux quotidiens.
Waner joue régulièrement avec son frère d'arme Viktor Furiani avec qui il développe de nouvelles manières de conjuguer l'image et le son comme cela a été le cas au Mine Museum a St Etienne ou videos et flutes traversiere ne font plus qu'un.
Présent sur de nombreuse scene francaise comme le VIZUAL INVADERS, festival Videos ou bien encore le FESTIVAL WOODSTOWER et plus dernièrement au Musée de la Banque de Bruxelles lors de la nuit des musées 2012 ou a Lyon avec Frivolous et Tales of us pour les soirée Ed n Legs . WANER a.k.a Erwan Roy, has been rocking the Paris Underground for the past 15 years, and has been a dedicated servant to House Music in the process. He is the President and driving force behind one of Paris's longest running Web Radio Shows "Electroset", on wafradio.com which has been broadcasting Minimal Tech House for over 3 years. The station has featured many Top DJ's, Live Acts and Visual Artists playing the circuit in clubs all over Paris and the rest of France.
DJ's such as Kevin Saunderson, Derrick May, DJ Sneak, Laurent Garnier and Daft Punk have been a big influence on Waner's Musical Style, and since forming WAF Radio, he has been broadcasting House Music to the ears of the many dedicated listeners 5 times a week, every week for the last few years. He is also the Promoter and Resident DJ for After Soundays @ 3 Escales, one of Paris's many after party venues, and a favourite with many of the citiesTop DJ's and Influential Clubbers.
Waner started out his DJ career in the early 1990's, playing at various bars and clubs around Paris, with an affection for playing in the smaller rooms, where he felt more of an underground vibe, and more at one with his public. As a DJ he shows an incredible capacity to understand the crowd and with an ear to drop what is appropriate for the Dance Floor at a particular time, Waner is truly the right man for the Minimal Techno and Electro Houseenthusiasts.
He has played at many top nights around Paris which include DJ Sets at Vaults St-Honoured, Cithea Nova, Concorde Atlantic, The Alternative, The
Scene, Luna, Batofar, New Morning, Uncontrollable Cabinet, Techno Parade, Nouveau Casino, Gravel Plateau, Shannon Pub, Maroquinerie, Café on the Beach, Folie's Pigalle, Coffee Leopard, 3rd Place, Anything, Tender Offer, Babalu, Coffee K, Berimbar, Show Put, Mezzanine of Alcazar, Studio 287, Caves St Sabin and L' Opus Café.
In early 2009, he was selected to headline the FTV (Fashion TV) Parties in Mumbai and Calcutta (INDIA), and also performed at ZENZI, one of India's leading electronic music venues. Also, this year has seen Waner performing at the Nuits Sonores Festival, in Lyon (France), one of Europe's largest Electronic Music Festivals as part of the Mosquito Massala Spring Tour 2009.
September 2009 saw Erwan tour the UK with the Mosquito Collective, playing various gigs and radio broadcasts in London and Leicester (UK).
2008, also as part of the Mosquito Massala Collective (MoM), he performed at The Woodstower Festival in a natural park in the Rhone Alps region, and The Visual Invaders Festival, up in the mountains in the French Alps, close to the Swiss/Italian border.

Not only is he an accomplished DJ, but Erwan Roy a.k.a Waner has for the last two years been releasing his creative flair by taking on the responsibility of being the second VJ within the Mosquito Massala Collective (MoM), and alongside Viktor Furiani, has helped create and put together large-scale installations in clubs and festivals across France.
In the short time that Waner has been VJ'ing, he has secured VJ residences at The Redline Parties in Paris and has been supporting various collectives all over France, such as The Scratch Bandit Crew for the Battle of the DJ's 2009, The Galaticut Crew (Lyon) and Keep on Smiling Collective (KoS) from Paris, as well as providing Visuals for the WAF Radio Shows.
His inspirations come in many forms, from experimental cinema and architecture, to graffiti and tribal influences from across the globe. He recently worked on a large-scale installation with The Mosquito Massala Collective at the Mine Museum in St Etienne, where he worked alongside Frederick Kahn and Fabrice Jünger, accomplished music conductors and producers from Lyon (France).
Erwan Roy is the engine that keeps the MoM collective pushing forward, and with the many skills that he brings to the table and his never ending multi-tasking from DJ'ing and VJ'ing, to sound and visual installations, to designing flyers, controlling the facebook groups and maintaining the websites, to running a radio station, Waner is without a doubt the team player any collective would be proud to have in their ranks.
